Test Drive: Canon Rebel SL1

Been awhile since I did a “test drive” and now I have a few quick posts to put online! First up is the entry-level Canon Rebel SL1. Canon came out with this camera to appeal to the consumers who were all saying they wanted higher-quality photos, and interchangeable lenses, but didn’t want a big camera. The SL1 is Canon’s smallest mirrored DSLR, but still packs a lot of features into its small size. I had it for about a week and it was pretty fun.

These shots are from when my friend, Linda, and I went out for a Sunday morning group-hike. It was supposed to be about trying to find wild flowers, but it was a little early in the season yet. There was much bird-watching though, and we saw a deer’s spine/rib cage in the marsh!
