Leica M6TTL and 28mm Summicron: my “fave”

Yesterday at a portfolio review, I was asked what my “favorite” shooting camera/lens combo was; what, if I was going on vacation would I take with me?  I answered that I’d take my Leica M6TTL and 28mm Summicron lens.

This pair is really what I shoot alot of my personal work.  For as along as I can remember, my “focus” has always been more on “the big picture” than on “isolating” aspects of the scene.  This pair, the M6 and 28, really allow me to take in a wide-angle view and to see all that is happening.  I want people to see the details of a moment too, but in its proper context.  Here then is my “favorite camera.”
