I was interviewed today about the Arts@Large artist-in-residence work that I had done at Story School. You can see that work here: 5th Grade, 6th Grade, and 8th Grade. The interviewer showed up at my house with two audio recorders, one Flip video-camera and a Panasonic Lumix that looks a bit like the recently released Leica Vlux-20. We had a real nice time chatting about the projects and the resulting interview will apparently be in the 2010 Annual Community Report (not available till year’s end, unfortunately).
The interviewer, Gretchen, had formerly used a Canon digital P+S, but since switching to the Lumix, has falled hard for it. She loves how easy it is to use and just thought the camera did a really great job. I appreciate that it goes to 25mm…NICE for a P+S.
